Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Center
Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Center focuses on the treatment of patients with malignant diseases of the hematopoietic and lymphatic system.
The complexity of these diseases requires a high degree of interdisciplinarity both in terms of diagnostics and therapy. The diagnostic institutes of radiology, nuclear medicine and clinical pathology, as well as the departments of hematology, oncology and radio-oncology, work together closely in order to provide each patient with the optimal care for his or her particular situation.
The range of care services encompasses consultation, treatment and after-care for patients as well as their relatives from Switzerland, as well as the care and consultation services provided to patients from foreign countries.
The services include all medications, radiation therapies and nuclear-medical tumor therapies, including autologous and allogeneic blood stem cell transplantation.
The Departments of Hematology and Oncology offer outpatient consultation hours from Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made in a timely manner by contacting the respective offices. Emergency appointments are possible at any time, including weekends.

Treatments in the context of clinical trials are geared towards further improving treatment for patients with hemato-oncological diseases. These therapy trials are conducted in close collaboration between the Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Center and international research organizations, such as the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK), Haemato Oncology Foundation for Adults in the Netherlands (HOVON), German Hodgkin Study Group (GSHG) and others, as well as the pharmaceutical industry.
We currently offer clinical trials for patients with acute and chronic leukemia, Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
To continuously improve treatment outcomes, the Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Center also offers a wide spectrum of center-based and international therapy optimization trials.
